Karin VargervikKarin Vargervik, DDS, director of the Center for Craniofacial Anomalies for the past 30 years, pioneered the medical and pyschosocial team approach to the treatment of multiple congenital abnormalities and, by so doing, has helped to literally rebuild the faces and lives of thousands of patients. In 2007, Vargervik, the Hillblom Foundation Distinguished Professor in Craniofacial Anomalies, received the Distinguished Science Award from the International Association for Dental Research.
